Australian animal napkin rings: kookaburra, platypus, galah, dolphin, echidna and wombat.
My sister spent some time overseas and she wanted napkin rings so I thought she may appreciate a reminder of home! The ring is formed by a conjunction of the animal and an element of its environment: a eucalyptus leaf for the kookaburra, clouds for the galah, water for the platypus and dolphin, and land for the echidna and wombat.
These small sculptures are available individually or as a set of 6. They are cast in bronze from an original wax by the lost wax method. Each copy is signed.
